Shipping Policy

All non-custom items are shipped within 3-5 business days from date of purchase. If you make multiple purchases to the same address, shipping will not be combined or refunded. Local pickup orders are ready for pickup within 3-5 business days from date of purchase. All items are packaged in the order they are purchased and are fulfilled chronologically with shipped orders. If for any reason there is a change in my processing time, I will notify you as soon as possible after placing your order. 

Once a package is received and accepted by USPS, unfortunately it is out of my control. You agree that Noelle Richard is not responsible for delayed, damaged, lost, or stolen packages by purchasing. All shipping updates can be found with your tracking number and is the same information that Noelle has. 

Please note that USPS is experiencing significant delays due to COVID-19. This includes delays in both arrival times and tracking numbers being updated on their website. This can mean your package has been delivered to USPS by the seller and is moving, however the scanning updates are delayed. Your patience is appreciated during these times. If you hope to receive your order by a specific date, I recommend placing your order as early as possible. Once I receive the order, it will go through my standard processing times. I cannot make special accommodations or offer rush shipping at this time.

All printed items and drawings are one of a kind. In the case of a lost package, unfortunately they cannot be recreated.

Lost Package situations* 

You must contact USPS to file a claim or Missing Mail Request for your lost package. USPS will handle your issue and any additional tracking to locate your package. If you need proof of shipment of your order to file your claim, contact Noelle Richard at noellexrichard@gmail.com and reference your order #. Your issue will be in the hands of USPS. Noelle Richard will not be able to offer you a refund and cannot offer additional assistance for a USPS claim or Missing Mail Request.

*This information applies to both domestic and international purchases. International shipping services are insured via USPS.

Returns & Refunds

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are not accepted at this time. All items are final sale. All items are made by hand and are accurately described and photographed to fully convey each item. I am one person, and due to the handmade nature of my items and limited resources, I cannot afford to offer free returns or refunds for your item. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact me so I can help. Thank you for understanding! 

Handmade items

Every piece I make requires meticulous labor and care, and represents me as an artist. Extensive thought goes into the creation, documentation, and price of the piece. Due to the handmade nature of my items, and the materials and processes I use, each piece is one of a kind. It is impossible to make an identical copy of any print or drawing exactly. Anything I consider to be a flaw in the piece will be clearly listed in the description as such. 

All the garments I print on are secondhand, and as a result, you may see light wear on your item. I prioritize finding high-quality and like-new garments, however some wear on the garment is inevitable and to be expected with secondhand garments. I heat-set the ink of all apparel prints, however, due to the fact that I am not a commercial production facility, that I use environmentally friendly, water-based inks, and that my prints are incredibly detailed, the print surface can be fragile. All screen printed designs may become less vibrant, crack, or peel in places over time. I highly recommend washing garments inside out on cold/delicate, and air-drying or drying on low. Once you wear and/or wash your garment, I cannot assume any responsibility for changes in the print quality. I strive for quality and longevity in each of my items, and the creation and pricing of each piece reflects these values.

All ink and paper age over time, and may fade or yellow. Exposure to UV light, fluctuating temperatures, non-archival materials, humidity, and moisture affects all works on paper. I use acid-free paper for all my prints and drawings to extend the life and quality of the piece. However, I cannot guarantee that works on paper will not age over time. I recommend displaying works on paper out of direct sunlight, behind UV glass or acrylic, in acid-free, archival frames for best print life.

IP policy

Noelle Richard retains all rights to all imagery and concepts they produce in perpetuity. Customers may not in any circumstances use Noelle’s work for anything other than personal display or wear. 

If you are interested in having Noelle create imagery exclusively for your project, the exact terms can be negotiated in a separate contract provided by Noelle. Any negotiated exclusivity by a client will be reflected in the price of the items/imagery at hand. In these cases, Noelle will retain at minimum the right to use the imagery for their portfolio and/or exhibition.
